Made a few bad decisions, first thinking, 'they will come', if I created a neat and useable site so renters can shop for housing virtually, especially in ur college town which has a large number of rentals. I am ahead of its times. So.. I am building mre code to facilate the administrator management entering complementary listings from other sources presently not simple. And the other bad decision, twice experiencing and quickly reminded what its like having help, the last person quickly left town with my laptop computer and had to many other issues. Right now I am working with my programmers with some new user and admin optins.

Hello, Its about time I add something to this Blog. We have Renter memberships, we believe the owners are slowly still checking us outl or don't want to be first. The site was developed to have Owners input their properties.. We, hoped for a better response because it's free. And our local R.E. business are waiting too, when things smooth out, maybe more traffic, more inventory, when everyone is using it. Like cragslist is today, it took awhile too. So, they will want to be here too. My point, to presist by believing, to continuing this Eugene Area Rental pretty little site. HERE is what coming soon.. We am developing a addition to the process, a front-end application to assist our administration. To automatic data entry of public data, that substracts, collecting rental properties from other resources, admin or manage the coming and expiring properties, this mess. In the meantime, we have some limited administration functioning going on. And, we are waiting for the next version release soon!

Hello Everyone,

First of all, thank you so much for visiting Eugene Area Rentals,

This first part oof the application, we antiscipate Clients to enter as memberships, which they do. Seems like there are many renters and web searches for rental property. We did not ancipate Owners being so reluctant entering their own data.

We developed the application first to charge everyone something. Well, renters shouldn't have to pay.. just look in CraigsList or the newpapers.. Seems like Owners and Property Managers should pay but... I want this site to be successfull. So, decided let may it free. Most Owner must pay anyways expensive advertising for minimum 3line ads. Some list their property through Property Management teams, having their mostly their own properties on their own websites. Some forunate homeowners only need to place stakes near campus rentals, and lastely some list their properties with local Listing Services, who then sell their list to unsuspecting renters. The obivious solution seems to open it up to all. Make this site cool. Make it useful.. by spending the time to overcome sme obstacles.

Please excuse any misspelling or grammar problems on this site. I have been working on the development aspects and content for over 2 years. As of recently, I have just brought this site Eugene Area Rentals (EAR) forward final beta testing it functionality . Its FREE!  It's diffinitely a usable site. And so far, over 2000 logs, several hundred renter memberships have signed up. But, we still certainly need more properties. Rest assure, overtime, confidence is building one stone at a time.

For 18 years, I have supported the telephone answering service industry across the US and Canada with my own software & systems, giving 24 hour 7 day service and support. Infact, MASTAR is 1 of the 5 answering services in the Eugene area, and has been for over 10 years. I know how a website can grow and evolve over time. I have the desire and love to create and move projects forward, believing they have value for our community. For 5+ years I created, maintained membership Exotic Bird Rescue, is what it is today because I believed in the cause. Now several others individuals learn to continue maintaining it. I helped another parrot rescue who ask me to create another local parrot rescue here too. So, as you may notice exploring deeper into links fund in these webpages, That, I have several large lifetime parrot companions.. so keeps me cleaning up my world and being organised.

I've budgeted enough cash to keep Eugene Area Rentals going with my own moneys advertising on SAT, SUN & WED for the next two years and some mediaa's, and radio advertising. That's along time expecting nomore than what is already here. Everyone, please use this site, send me comments what you want this site to do for you. I am willing and committed to helping you enter your own property data for you, administrating all the help around here.. until we need help.

Its really simple, just register as a member, you should get instant access. Enter your information and pictures..

Craigslist.com is great too! And of coarse we ask you please.. Don't Forget to add Our EAR Link there too!  Use our PROPERTY_ID NUMBER to reference point exactly to your property.   Problem with Craigslist is, ads just scroll down getting older, owners keep re-entering the same ad, are time consuming, gets boring the further down the list you go.

Eugene Area Rentals is search specific. Search properties by area or amenities for your needs. Eugene Area Rentals is more about our town, our community, your pictures and more community stuff and every bit organized by its database content, by my custom programming and your imagination. I will make things happen. Time will prove our existence.

I am a developer, a computer geek.. I spent countless hours, days and months of my time having fun, solving what if's, and believing in this site usefulness. Evolving this site and several other Eugene/ Springfield theme specific sites along the way is fun for me. I am not perfect nor, do I know how to do everything.... But, if I can't solve it, there's other programmers I already have, they have already, are still working on this site, and they get paid. Please understand, I am here for the long haul, especially, since I love doing this, and I believe in our internet future and hope you do too!
